Boise, Idaho is a small city in a country facing some big challenges with affordable housing. Even before the pandemic in 2020, housing costs were booming. For the last 25 years, Jesse Tree has been working to keep the locals in their homes despite the rising costs in a place where renters seemingly have no power or legal protections.
